Cancel Requests

 

You can cancel incident/service requests you raised initially but later decided they were unnecessary or you no longer require those services. By default, you only have the permission to raise a cancellation request to technicians. The SDAdmin can grant you permission to cancel your requests by yourself.

 

If request cancellation is enabled for you, you can go to the request you wish to cancel and click Actions >> Cancel Request. The request move to Canceled status.

 

If request cancellation is not enabled for you, you can raise a cancellation request to technicians.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If the cancellation request is approved by the technicians, the request moves to Canceled status. If rejected, the request will resume its workflow.

 

You can revoke the cancellation request by clicking Revoke cancel requested on the Cancellation Requested banner. Alternatively, you can navigate to Actions >> Revoke Cancellation Requested.

 

Once you cancel a request, you can only view it later.
All approval actions will be stopped after a request is canceled.
You can only cancel requests raised by yourself.
